How to Play PS2 Games in Your Browser
February 3, 2026·Darkpoint·1 min read

PlayStation 2 emulation in a browser sounded impossible a few years ago. Today, thanks to WebAssembly, you can boot PS2 games on our PS2 emulator — no installs, no console.
What you need
- A PS2 disc image you legally own (
.iso,.bin,.img,.elf, or.cue). - A modern desktop browser. PS2 emulation is demanding, so a reasonably fast machine helps.
Getting started
- Open the PS2 emulator.
- The page loads in an isolated mode (it may refresh once — that's expected; it enables the multi-threading PS2 needs).
- Drag and drop your game file and press Start Game.
Tips for better performance
- Use ISO files extracted from original discs for the best compatibility.
- Close other heavy tabs — the emulator wants your CPU.
- A gamepad gives the best experience, but keyboard works too.
Prefer the classics? Our main catalog has thousands of older titles that run instantly in any browser — including the entire PlayStation library. And you can always upload your own ROMs for other consoles.
